A baseball game!

Sunday we went to a Reno Aces game. The Aces are Reno's minor league baseball team. =) It was a good game, despite the fact that it was 90+ degrees, and I am 9 months pregnant. haha. The stadium is really nice! It was just built, and opened in April. They played the Tacoma Raniers, and we won!
It was also cool, because it was family night, and they had the zooperstars there, which you may remember if you watched America's got Talent last year. They were hilarious!
Anyways, here are some pictures I got. Sorry the quality isn't great, all I had was my phone camera!

No clever title

Ugh, I am so over working now. I wish I could go into labor now so that I could leave work. haha. Ok, maybe not, but I wish I didn't have to work! I am just uncomfortable, and irritable, and I work with the wrong people and in the wrong environment to have that attitude. One lady in particular... the one who I have mentioned before who treats me like I don't know anything, and is bossy. I hate bossy people.

Anyways, In better news, Josh talked to the people about that job in California, and he has a face to face 2nd interview on Friday! Yay!!! I really really hope this is God's will and he gets the job and it pays great!

I have been having more contractions lately... I think they are probably just braxton hicks, and they usually come at the end of the day after having been on my feet all day, or after I stand up after sitting for a while. They are annoying and uncomfortable, but if they are bringing me closer to having this baby, then I'm all for em'! Next week is when they start the cervical checks, so I am interested to see if these contractions are doing anything or not. *fingers crossed* hehe.
Oh, and my Dr.'s office called me back today, and the ultrasound looked normal and everything looks good! Just like I thought! She keeps getting worried about how much I am growing (although I still hardly look pregnant, just more overweight, haha) But I think I am just carrying all in front. =)

well, I am off for now, hope everyone is having a good week!

35 weeks (and an ultrasound!)

Well, I have my ultrasound this morning. I won't know what my Dr. Thinks until my appointment next wednesday... Unless she is concerned, then she will call me. If you missed my 24 week post, my Dr. was concerned about my jump in size over the past month (though I don't see it at all!)
Anyways, we got a god look at the baby, and got to actually watch it sucking. You could see it's little mouth going at it... "mama, I'm hungry!" Hehe, it was so cute! And we saw even more hair than last time! Anyways, here are a couple pictures...

Nice strong Heatbeat...

Face shot

You can see the lips puckered in this one...

And lastly, here is my belly shot for week 35...

Hope everyone has a good week! I only have 4 weeks of work left till my maternity leave begins! Although we are all praying this baby comes a little early!

A possible move!

So, as some of you may know, my husband and I have been kinda wanting to move back to California, where I grew up. I have been sending resumes and watching for jobs for him, but with the economy where it is right now, there hasn't been much of a demand for Aircraft Mechanics.
Well, last week he got a call from a company in Modesto asking if he was still interested in a job. He told them yes, and the guy scheduled a phone interview with him for yesterday. ( Which was cool... he said he didn't want to take him away from work)
Well, this interview went really well, and so now we are waiting to hear back from them to see if they want to schedule a face to face interview next week. =) Yay!
So we are really praying that this is in God's will. This company sounds like a great company, the guy who interviewed him has been there the least amount of time out of everyone, and he has been there 8 years!
If they hire him, they will want him to start in 2 weeks (give or take) so, we could be moving right after the baby is born. (luckily it's only 3 hours away) He would work there and come back weekends until the baby is born,(then drive over with my mom as soon as I go into labor) so I can stay at my job and hold onto my benefits
and get my maternity leave. Then while I am still on leave, we will pack everything up and move!)
We are really praying that this is a great opportunity, with good pay, and most importantly, benefits! Then it would take the stress off of me to be the benefits earner. We would also be closer to my family, and with the baby coming, that would be great! We would also be closer to most of our friends. =)
So, if you think about it, say a prayer! Thanks!

Uncomfortable (34 weeks)

I think I have finally hit the point in this pregnancy where I am uncomfortable more often than not.
I have heartburn (yes, I have been lucky enough to not have it before now.)
I feel like the baby is pushing on everything, and when it kicks it hurts. (and it kicks a lot!)
I have to pee all the time
I can't sleep very well at night, and rolling over in bed is very difficult (I rolled over early this morning and had such a sharp pain in my round ligament that it totally woke me up, and I couldn't move for a few minutes)
I am ready to have this baby... I am praying that this one comes early (I am sure everyone does!) but I am at 34 weeks now, so 3 more weeks and I am considered full term.
I had a dr.'s appointment today, and everything looks good, except she is worried about my size again. My measurements jumped since last time, so she ordered another ultrasound for Monday morning to make sure everything is ok. My ultrasound a month ago (for the same reason) showed everything was normal at that point, and the baby was in the 50th percentile for size. Hopefully this one will show the same thing! I think its just that the baby is all in front. =)
well, I am ending this post now, cause I am getting head butted in my bladder and have to pee! ;-)

The baby shower!

So, I know it is really late, but here are some pictures from my hometown baby shower. (I forgot my camera, and had to wait for someone to get these to me.)
We had a good time, it was great to see people I hadn't seen in a long time, and we got lots of fun goodies for the baby!

My Mom's Graduation.... belated. =)

So last weekend we were at my parents house to celebrate my Mom's Graduation from CSU Stanislaus' Nursing program.
Her pinning ceremony was on Thursday night. My dad pinned her with her RN Pin. =) Here are some pictures:

Can anyone help?

Some of you may remember my post a while back about the weird shooting that we passed a couple weeks ago...

Well, the good samaritan that was shot just happened to be a future customer at our pharmacy. Long story short, He is unable to work right now, and the family is struggling. To top it off, one of the medications he needed was not covered at our pharmacy, and because someone gave them a partial fill due to us being out of stock, the patient was stuck paying over $120 for half of a prescription that our pharmacy manager refused to take back.

Here is where you all come in...

I know that times aren't really easy for anyone right now, but I wanted to try and help this family out in any way I could. If any of you are willing to donate a few dollars, I am sure this family would be greatly appreciated. I will personally deliver any funds we can raise to this family. I couldn't imagine this happening to our family, and this is one situation where it very easily could have. (If we had driven past 5 minutes earlier...)

Thanks to anyone who can help, and everyone who donates will be entered into a drawing to win a custom pair of earrings! =)

A busy week!

Well, This week is a busy one. =)
I worked yesterday, today, and I work tomorrow. Thursday Morning I have a Dr. appointment, then we are leaving from there to go to Sacramento to meet with a Coast Guard Recruiter (to explore some options) Then we are heading down to Manteca to my parent's house.
Thursday Night is my mom's Pinning Ceremony, then Friday Morning is her graduation. She is graduating from CSU Stanislaus with her BSN in Nursing. I am so proud of her! She is graduating Summa Cum Laud. =) She has worked so hard for this, and I am so glad (and she is too) that it is finally here!
Saturday morning is my first baby shower, then that afternoon is the BBQ for my mom. =)
So yeah, we have a pretty busy week, but I am so glad that the "work week" is over after tomorrow! yay!
I can't wait for my baby shower! I can't believe we are getting closer and closer! I am 32 weeks now... It's coming up!
Hope everyone is having a good week!
