I finally have 2 days off! I have a Doctor's appointment tomorrow, which is overdue and much needed. I finally have insurance so I can get a checkup! Then I get to clean the house and relax!

A rose is a rose...

I love this picture. I took it of a hybrid tea rose at the Smithsonian garden in Washington DC. I love how it is two different colors. =)

Anyways, I haven't blogged much in the past couple days. I worked all weekend, which stunk, but oh well. I have the next two days off. Maybe I can get some stuff done. =)
When I got home from work today, Josh made me get on my bike and ride down to the park about 1/2 mile away where he pulled a blanket and a chicken Caesar salad he made out of his backpack and we had a little picnic lunch, then rode to blockbuster to get a movie to watch. then we came home and watched "What happens in Vegas." I liked it, it was funny, and had a good ending.

So yeah, guess that's about all for now! =)

What a deal! (& a diet update)

So I read on another blog that JC Penny was having a huge clearance sale. Figuring this would be a good chance to buy some baby clothes for some pregnant cousins of mine, I went...
And I came back with this:

For a grand total of $28. Each piece was normally $8-10. We won't go into the fact that I am only giving away 2 of these outfits and keeping the rest for myself because they are just too darn cute.
I also got my dad 2 shirts for $3 each and Josh a polo shirt for $5. Bringing my grand total spent to $43. And you know that little part of the receipt that says "you saved this much today?" Yeah... I saved $150. Crazy! So if your kids need back to school clothes... Go check out their sale!

Anyways, as for my diet, I am down 5 pounds! In 3 days! woohoo!

I went grocery shopping this morning, and now I am worn out... and I have to clean the house today... I cleaned and organize the bedroom yesterday and did laundry... now for the rest of the house....

Our Sunday!

Well, our friends Seth and Heather (see last post) were still here today, and they have a nice new jeep. They found some jeep trails around our area, and really wanted to try one out, so this morning we took the doors and roof off and drove up to Tahoe!
It wasn't a very difficult trail, and there were some gorgeous views!




Then, after we got home, and they took off for home, we were sitting around watching tv (after showering off the layer of dirt we acquired on the trail, when Josh decided to be romantic. He got dressed, told me to get ready and be ready to go when he got home in 15 mins. Then he left. When he came back, he took me to dinner at Chilis, and then to see Get Smart (he had gone and bought the tickets) It was a really funny movie! We both really enjoyed it.
Anyways, now we are off to bed since we have to work in the morning. Fun Fun!

Oh! On a positive note, the Pharmacist from Walmart called, and wants to schedule an interview! YAY! Prayer, please!

Rodeo

On Saturday night, our friends Seth and Heather came out to visit, and we went to the Reno Rodeo! It was pretty fun. Josh and I had never been to a rodeo before, but we enjoyed it.
