An accomplished day. =)

Today we got up early and went out to check out the garage sales. The weather today was gorgeous, and there were quite a few garage sales. We didn't end up finding anything except a portable baby swing. That was a great deal... only $3!

Then we came home and cleaned the garage! Haha. We have so much stuff, and we organized stuff, and put everything we want to sell at a yard sale on one side of the garage. We are going to try and have a yard sale on my next weekend off. =)

After that Josh cleaned out the cars while I did the dishes and put some laundry in, unclogged the vacuum again, and cleaned up the house.

Then we hung out a bit, showered and headed to church... Church was good. =) At the end they had us pair off and pray for someone we know is having a hard time. Well, we paired off with another couple, and I mentioned we were having a tough time financially, and they prayed for us, then after the service spent some time talking to us. It was nice, even though I got all emotional... I tend to get emotional when people pray for me, especially when it is something I am struggling with or something. And of course, the hormones don't help! haha.

Now we are relaxing at home watching tv. I have tomorrow off too, so we are going to sleep in then hang out and relax, maybe go for a nice long walk. =)

For those of you who don't already know, or haven't heard, MckMamma's Baby Stellan has been in the hospital for the past couple days with heart problems, and just recently went into prolonged ventricular tachycardia.
Please pray for this sweet baby boy and for his family!!!

So I am sitting here listening to David Klinkenberg, who is an AMAZING violinist (though he calls himself a fiddler.) He just got off tour with Lonestar, but has several CD's out of his own that are predominantly instrumental, and include a lot of worship music. Anyways, he was at my parents church yesterday playing in the service, and I fell in love with his music... and bought his CD. (I HIGHLY Recommend you check his site out!)
So I am listening to it, and my laptop speakers are close to my belly, and apparently baby Welch is liking it, cause s/he is kicking up a storm!

Certified!

Wow, I haven't updated in a while, huh? I'm sorry... It has been a busy week. I have been studying all week for my Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam that I took yesterday morning.... And finishing the jewelry I made for my friend Holly for her bridesmaids. =)
So I was up at 5:45 yesterday morning (way too early for me!) To head up to Reno to take my exam. I finished in under an hour (90 questions) and walked out feeling quite unsure. It was hard! Well, the administrator handed me a paper and it said "Status: Passed." YAY! I thought I would have to wait a couple weeks for results... Definitely made it nice, because now I don't have to stress out over it! So this means I will get my Tech license and a Raise!
Yesterday afternoon we headed over to my parents house in California for the weekend. My 26th Birthday is tomorrow, so we are all going out to dinner tonight, and just hanging out.
The Baby has been more and more active lately. Kicking and flipping all the time! It is so amazing and so weird at the same time! hehe.

Lazy Sunday

Today I got up and had breakfast with my Nana, then went to CVS and got a killer deal on diapers with my $5 coupons, then came home, worked on some jewelry for a friends wedding, did some laundry, and did dishes, and made rice crispy treats to take to dinner at our friends house tonight. =)
Josh got home at about 3:30, and we went to the walking trail since the weather is so nice today. It was so neat, we came up on this herd of horses, and they had a little baby foal that looked only a few days old. It was precious! And one of the horses came up close to us, and I wish I had gotten a picture, but Stella was very interested and was standing and looking at the horses, and one of them came up to investigate, and touched noses with her. It was so cute! Here is one picture I took with my camera:

Week 20!

Well, I know I already posted that I was 20 weeks, but today was my doctor's appointment, and I wanted to post updates!
Everything looks good! Heartbeat is nice and strong!
Oh, and I am proud of myself! I didn't gain any weight this month! =)

Halfway there!

Well, I am officially halfway through my pregnancy! I am 20 weeks tomorrow (Monday.) I can't believe it.. though part of me is like halfway? that's it? haha.
I'm still not really showing... though that is only because I am overweight. It I was thin I would definitely have a bump. =)
Baby Welch is moving around more and more, and I feel little pokes almost everyday. Usually it is when I am sitting or laying in bed that I feel them. So that is exciting.
I have my 20 week ultrasound on wednesday, and we have decided for sure that we are not going to find out what the baby is. (Though Josh says he will be looking for something between the legs!) ;-)

I had the weekend off, so Josh and I Hung out and relaxed, cleaned the house some, did some shopping (would have been nicer if we had money to spend!), took the dog for a walk, and watched a couple movies. It was nice, and the weather was beautiful. It was a nice weekend. I don't want to go back to work tomorrow...

Rain!

It has been raining all day. I don't think it has rained this much total since we moved here. (we live in high desert)
It is supposed to keep raining all week. I am loving it! I miss rain! =) I am off tomorrow, and I am going to relax (after I clean, of course!)

I found a dresser/changing table! I got it on craigslist for $10! It is in really good condition too! The people selling it moved today, so we had to go get it last night up in lake Tahoe. It was pouring rain, but we got it back, dried it off and it works perfectly in the spot we had planned! I loaded the few bags of baby clothes into it, and got it all set up... makes me want this baby to come sooner! (ok, not really) ;-)

Oh! I almost forgot! My good friend Renee just found out today that she is pregnant! They have been trying for a few months. =) We are so excited for them! We get to be preggo together for at least a few months!
