Of course I have to say that I can't believe she is four months old already! And yet, it seems like she has been a part of our family for so much longer!
She had her 4 month checkup on Tuesday, and she is just about 12 pounds now! (well, I am sure she is by now!) She is just a little thing, but she is already 24 inches tall!
She is such a happy girl for the most part, and is rarely shy with her smiles. She only really cries when she is hungry, dirty or tired (or when we are trying to put her to sleep, which she doesn't like... already showing some of that red-head stubbornness. hehe)
She is doing so well with holding her head up, and she does not like to lay down if you are holding her. She wants to be sitting or standing. She talks a ton too!
She has been having a rough time the past week or so with sleeping at night. She was sleeping for a 3-5 hour stretch and then would be up every 2-3 hours after that, but the past week she has been up every 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours, and wanting to sleep with me and not in her co-sleeper. Needless to say it's been a long week. Last night she slept for a 3 hour stretch, and was in her bed most of the night, so hopefully she's getting back to that! (she had a fever for a few days after her shots which didn't help)
She is still nursing and supplementing with formula. We are trying a new one as of this morning, hopefully it will help with the gas. It is for sensitive stomachs, so we'll see!
She adores her big brother! Whenever he is around, she has her eyes on him. She loves to watch him run around, and loves to give him smiles when he gives her kisses and "kickos" (tickles.)
