We leave for Washington DC!
I have been working all week, and we had a friend visiting until wednesday night, which is why I haven't been blogging much lately.
I am on my lunch break right now, and as soon as I get off work tonight (at 7) I have to make dinner, do the dishes, clean up a bit, pack, take the dog to the boarding place, and get everything ready to go...
cause we leave at 5am in the morning. bleh! At least tomorrow There will be a shorter day thanks to the time difference. =)
I just checked the weather, and it is supposed to be scattered thunderstorms almost all week. Which means really humid. (as if it normally isn't) kinda stinks! But at least the temperatures are supposed to be in the high 80's low 90's which isn't unbearably hot.
I am taking my computer, so I will hopefully blog while there! Have a good weekend!

Cant wait to see pics and hear stories. I will be living through you eyes cause I have never been there. TOTALLY WANT TO!
Oh fun! If you have a car - take the drive to the Smithsonian Air & Space Hanger (sp?) in Virginia. There's a real space shuttle in there. It's super neat!
And, make sure you go to the Holocaust Museum. It's very somber but, you just need to go. Everyone should go. Words can't really describe it.
