I love the olympics. Specifically the swimming, gymnastics and diving. I have the DVR set to record everything. Which means I have to keep up with them or else I will run out of space... I just watched Michael Phelps win a gold medal and break the world record. I love that kid... He is stinking amazing as a swimmer. First olympics at 15, and now at his third! crazy!
Did you all see the opening ceremonies? I only watched until the parade, but it was amazing! I have it all Tivo'd, so I might go back and watch some more...
On another note, I think my parents, my sister, my brother and his wife are all coming up for my Nanny's surgery. We will have a houseful on Tuesday! But it will be nice to have them all here. =) (despite the circumstances)
Well, back to the Olympics!

We were up late last nite watching the swimming. I hung in there 'til the US women's 400 relay swam, and it was midnight when they finally finished. We enjoyed watching; isn't Michael Phelps amazing?
this has nothing to do with your post but i wanted to tell you thank you. i was reading the recipe submissions over at pioneer woman and i decided to try your scone recipe out on the fam. it was a great success and we loved it. they were so good. i didn't have fresh blueberries so we used our fresh strawberries, yummy! so thanks for the recipe. i really enjoyed it.
